It’s true. Most people don’t like change. Except for babies with wet diapers, of course. But life changes all around us. Every day. Month. Year. We change, too. We become older. More wrinkled. A bit pudgier. Have babies. Get jobs. Lose jobs. Loved ones die. We move to new houses or cities. Life is change. Constant, evolving change. But here’s the good news: Life change is a natural part of life and following Jesus. You should be changing from glory to glory every day of your life (2 Cor. 3:18). Being transformed into his image (Romans 8:29). But isn’t it wonderful to know that God never changes? He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Heb. 13:8). Therefore, accept change. It’s inevitable. Learn from babies. It’ll make life easier to be enjoyed. But always trust in the never-changing Father of light who oversees and loves you more than you’ll ever know.
